SPF signs MoU with SBI for enhanced salary and welfare benefits

Hyderabad: Telangana Special Protection Force (SPF) signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the State Bank of India to implement a customised salary and welfare package for its personnel, aimed at strengthening financial support and benefits for serving members.

The MoU was signed at SPF Headquarters, Buddha Bhavan, Secunderabad, and includes an array of benefits. The salary package features personal accidental insurance of ₹1 crore, air accident coverage of ₹1.6 crore, and permanent partial disability support up to ₹80 lakh. It also provides a ₹10 lakh Group Term Life Insurance policy.

Comprehensive benefits include insurance, education aid, and banking support

Additional welfare elements cover child education, girl child marriage assistance, air ambulance access, plastic surgery aid for burn victims, and repatriation support. SBI has also extended enhanced banking services such as loan concessions, lower locker rental rates, and Platinum RuPay debit cards for SPF personnel.

Director General of SPF, Smt. Swati Lakra, thanked State Bank of India for designing the benefits around the specific needs of police staff and called for continued cooperation. SBI Deputy General Manager Neelakshi Singh and other officials participated in the signing event.
