Sircilla student suicide in Hyderabad hostel room

Hyderabad: Sircilla student suicide was reported after a BTech third-year student from Rajanna Sircilla district was found dead in a private hostel room in Narapally on Thursday.

The victim was identified as Nandini, a native of Sanugula village in Chandurthi mandal. She was studying at Siddhartha Engineering College in Hyderabad.

According to police, Nandini died by suicide after hanging herself from a ceiling fan inside her hostel room. The incident came to light after information reached the authorities.

Medipally police rushed to the scene and registered a case. They began an investigation to establish the circumstances behind the Sircilla student suicide.

Police said the exact reasons behind the student suicide were not immediately known. Officers were collecting details and examining possible factors that led to the incident.

Meanwhile, the body was shifted for postmortem examination. After the procedure, it would be handed over to family members and transported to her native village.
