Soldier’s land grabbed in Siddipet, viral video pleads for justice

Hyderabad: A jawan fighting on the nation’s borders has no defence for his own land. Ramaswamy, an Indian Army soldier from Chowdarpalle village in Akbarpet-Bhoompalli mandal, Siddipet district, released a desperate video on social media after officials ignored his repeated pleas. The clip’s gone viral.

His one-acre plot, he says, has been grabbed. Despite purchasing it on plain paper in front of village elders and cultivating it for years, the Dharani portal still reflects the seller’s name. Worse—he alleges that the local VRO manipulated records to transfer the land to his own brother.

He claims he’s approached revenue and police authorities several times. No action. No response from the RDO or collectors. Meanwhile, land grabbers have begun threatening his aged parents.

“Take action,” he says in the video. “I only want my land back.”

The soldier’s call for justice is now public. But the silence from the administration continues.
