Shabbir Ali attends Gram Sabha in Domakonda, reviews development and outlines welfare schemes

Hyderabad: Government Advisor Mohammed Ali Shabbir attended a Gram Sabha at Domakonda mandal headquarters in Kamareddy constituency on Thursday.

He joined the programme as the chief guest under the Praja Palana – Pragati Pranalika initiative. During the visit, Shabbir Ali interacted with villagers and received several representations.

Several issues were resolved on the spot. Meanwhile, he instructed officials to address the remaining grievances quickly.

While addressing the gathering, Shabbir Ali explained the State government’s 99-day action plan. He said it aims to speed up rural development, improve healthcare and strengthen infrastructure.

He added that the programme will bring visible results in every village.

As part of development efforts, he laid the foundation stone for works worth ₹75 lakh. These include CC roads, drains and other basic amenities.

Accordingly, these works will improve living conditions in Domakonda.

Speaking further, Shabbir Ali said the Congress government is committed to fulfilling its promises. He added that the goal is to achieve “Indiramma Rajyam.”

In addition, he highlighted the implementation of the six guarantees.

Focusing on welfare, he said women benefit from free RTC bus travel and LPG cylinders at ₹500. In addition, poor families receive up to 200 units of free electricity.

The government also provides ₹5 lakh assistance for housing, while eligible beneficiaries receive house sites.

Meanwhile, pensions support the elderly, widows and other vulnerable groups.

For farmers, the government provides ₹12,000 per acre annually as investment support.

Alongside welfare, the government is expanding roads, improving education and strengthening healthcare services.

Earlier, Shabbir Ali inspected the government hospital in Domakonda. He interacted with patients and reviewed facilities.

After noticing a shortage of doctors, he spoke to officials and assured that they would appoint three doctors soon.

He also inspected land allocated for a proposed 50-bed hospital. During the visit, he reviewed site conditions and discussed local issues with officials.

He directed authorities to resolve land-related issues quickly and avoid delays.

Shabbir Ali said the new hospital will improve medical services in the region. He added that construction will begin after approvals.

Additional Collector Madhu Mohan and local leaders attended the programme along with officials and villagers.
