Hyderabad: State Bank of India, as part of its corporate social responsibility initiative, donated 10 Mahindra Jeeto electric vehicles worth ₹1 crore to the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation.
The vehicles were formally handed over on Tuesday at SBI’s local head office premises in Koti by S. Radhakrishnan, Chief General Manager of SBI Hyderabad Circle, to GHMC Commissioner R.V. Karnan.
Commissioner Karnan thanked SBI for the CSR donation and said the vehicles would help improve public services in the city. He urged other institutions to extend similar support to GHMC.
Deputy General Managers of SBI, GHMC Additional Commissioner Raghu Prasad, SBI officials, and Veterinary Deputy Director Dr. J.D. Wilson were among those present at the programme.
