Sankranthi travel safety advisory issued by Hyderabad Police

Hyderabad: Hyderabad Police Commissioner V.C. Sajjanar urged city residents travelling to their hometowns for Sankranthi to take basic precautions and inform local police before leaving their houses locked. He said advanced information would help police teams monitor such homes during routine patrols and prevent thefts.

With the Sankranthi festival approaching, many families leave Hyderabad for several days to visit their native places. Sajjanar appealed to citizens to notify their nearest police station or beat officer before travelling.
