Union Education Secretary Sanjay Kumar reviews FLN progress in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: Union Education Secretary Sanjay Kumar visited Telangana on Friday and reviewed several key academic initiatives in Hyderabad. He first attended the Council of Boards of School Education in India (COBSE) meeting held at Habsiguda. Later, he visited the Raj Bhavan School in Somajiguda.

During the school visit, Sanjay Kumar inspected the AXL Lab and reviewed students’ progress under the Foundational Literacy and Numeracy (FLN) programme. He later interacted with district collectors and education officials from various districts through a Zoom meeting.

COBSE meeting draws delegates from multiple states and neighbours

Several representatives from state education boards, along with delegates from Nepal and Bhutan, participated in the COBSE meeting. They later visited the Telangana Intermediate Board office in Nampally.

The visiting delegates inspected the Command Control Centre and reviewed the attendance monitoring system used by the board. They expressed satisfaction over the state’s use of digital tools for real-time tracking of student attendance and academic data.
