Sangareddy kidnap rumours traced to misunderstanding

During the inquiry, police found that one youth from Rajampet was travelling in the auto with two friends. They were passing through the area to collect mango branches from a house.

DSP Sattaiah Goud said the Sangareddy kidnap rumours likely arose after children playing nearby became frightened on seeing the auto. He stated that no suspicious activity or kidnapping attempt occurred.

He further urged the public not to panic over unverified information. At the same time, he advised parents to keep a close watch on their children.

Police said the situation was normal and no case of kidnapping was registered.
