HYDERABAD, February 10: Leaders of the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (RTC) Joint Action Committee (JAC) convened an emergency meeting at the Employees Union office near VST, Hyderabad on Monday. The gathering aimed to prepare for the scheduled discussions with RTC management later in the day.
The JAC, along with six other trade unions, had previously submitted strike notices to the RTC management, highlighting 21 key demands concerning employee welfare and operational improvements. In response, the RTC management invited the unions for a meeting at 4 PM to deliberate on these issues.
During the emergency session, JAC leaders prioritized the most pressing concerns from their list of demands to ensure focused discussions. They also considered bringing additional issues to the table, emphasizing the need for comprehensive dialogue. Contingency plans were discussed in case the talks did not yield satisfactory outcomes, underscoring the leaders’ commitment to securing favorable resolutions for RTC employees.
