Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on Sunday unveiled the official poster for Medaram Jatara 2026. He confirmed that the tribal fair will take place from January 28 to 31.
Revanth Reddy said Sammakka and Saralamma symbolise Telangana’s spirit of resistance and sacrifice. “Their sacrifices inspire generations,” he said in a statement shared by the CMO. He also pledged to upgrade festival infrastructure and preserve its cultural legacy for future generations.
Ministers Konda Surekha, Dhanasari Anasuya (Seethakka), Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy, and Adluri Laxman Kumar joined the Chief Minister at the event in Hyderabad.

Ministers join Revanth Reddy for Medaram Jatara 2026 launch
Held every two years in Mulugu district, Medaram Jatara is Asia’s largest tribal gathering. In 2026, the event will run for four days, starting on January 28. The Telangana government plans to make large-scale arrangements to manage crowds and enhance facilities.
