HYDERABAD: Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has launched the ‘Build Now’ portal, an online platform designed to provide swift and transparent approvals for building constructions and layouts in Telangana.
The inauguration took place during the ‘Koluvula Pandaga’ event at Ravindra Bharathi, where the Chief Minister handed over approval documents to three applicants who had applied online for home construction, marking the commencement of the Build Now services.
In his address, Chief Minister Reddy emphasised that the government is systematically resolving issues that have arisen due to irresponsible and negligent practices over the past decade. He stated that alongside welfare and development, delivering transparent governance under the ‘Telangana Model’ is a primary objective. The introduction of the Build Now portal aims to eliminate irregularities and illegal activities associated with manual processes by ensuring that all approvals for building constructions and layouts are processed online.
The Chief Minister acknowledged that while implementing reforms like the online system may cause inconvenience to some influential individuals, the goal is to provide equal and prompt services to all, regardless of social status. He clarified that everyone must apply through the public domain and upload their applications on the Build Now portal to obtain approvals. This initiative reflects the government’s commitment to transparency and the elimination of disparities in service delivery.
