Hyderabad: On the occasion of Telangana’s 12th Formation Day, Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy led a solemn tribute to the martyrs of the statehood movement, reinforcing his government’s pledge to pursue a future shaped by the people’s aspirations.
The day began with Revanth visiting Gun Park, located opposite the State Assembly in Hyderabad, where he laid floral tributes at the Martyrs’ Memorial. Surrounded by cabinet ministers, MLAs, MLCs, and TPCC president Mahesh Kumar Goud, the Chief Minister saluted the sacrifices that paved the way for the creation of India’s youngest state.
“The people of Telangana fought shoulder to shoulder to achieve statehood,” Revanth said, addressing the gathering. “Today, as we step into our 12th year, we rededicate ourselves to their vision and dreams.”
Extending his greetings to citizens, the Chief Minister introduced Telangana Rising as his government’s new guiding motto—a vision that he said reflects the collective hopes of the people.
CM Revanth Reddy stressed that his administration is firmly committed to accelerating the State’s economic growth and turning Telangana into a national model across sectors. “We’re shaping a future that upholds inclusive development, fiscal responsibility, and innovation. Telangana’s progress must be visible in every household,” he said.
The tribute at the Martyrs’ Memorial set a reflective tone for the day’s events, as the State celebrated its achievements while charting out a development roadmap grounded in people-first governance.
