CM Revanth alleges BRS-BJP ‘Fevicol bond’, vows 8-year Congress rule

Hyderabad: Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on Saturday alleged that BRS and BJP have formed a “Fevicol bond” to conspire against the Congress. He claimed both parties are working together to defeat Congress candidates in the upcoming municipal elections.

Speaking at a Praja Palana Pragathi Bata meeting in Parigi, Vikarabad district, Revanth accused the BRS of looting Telangana for a decade. He cited scandals involving fake passports, counterfeit currency, and broken promises. According to him, these misdeeds will remain etched in the state’s political memory.

Revanth vows stable rule, blasts rivals over collusion and neglect

The Chief Minister asserted that Congress would stay in power for the next eight years. He said he would make sure the legacy of BRS president K. Chandrashekar Rao, whom he referred to as “Papala Bhairavudu,” is never erased. Defending legal notices issued in the phone tapping case, Revanth said no one is above the law.

He accused the BJP of secretly backing BRS candidates to weaken the Congress in local polls. Revanth challenged KCR and Union Minister G. Kishan Reddy to face Congress directly. He declared that “Indiramma’s rule” will continue, no matter the political conspiracies.

Revanth also criticised BJP leaders for relying solely on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s image. He said they lacked accountability on regional development issues.

Targeting BRS once more, the Chief Minister blamed the party for ignoring the irrigation needs of Rangareddy district. He promised to deliver Godavari waters to Tandur, Parigi, Vikarabad, and Chevella. He also pledged transparent governance and timely irrigation support. Additionally, he alleged large-scale corruption in the Kaleshwaram project.

Revanth inaugurated several development works during the visit. Assembly Speaker Gaddam Prasad Kumar, Minister Sridhar Babu, and other Congress leaders accompanied him.
