Hyderabad: Telangana BJP president Ramchander Rao on Thursday demanded a detailed inquiry into the corruption allegations made by Minister Konda Surekha’s family against Chief Minister Revanth Reddy. He said the charges once again proved that corruption defines the Congress government.
BJP chief Ramchander Rao demands a probe into corruption charges
Speaking to reporters, Ramchander Rao said corruption and the Congress regime go hand in hand. “The allegations from Minister Konda Surekha’s family prove this beyond doubt,” he remarked.
He urged Chief Minister Revanth Reddy to explain the accusations immediately. Rao also called for an independent inquiry into Konda Sushmita’s statements. He questioned who stood behind those threatening Deccan Cements representatives and demanded their identities be revealed.
BJP chief targets Congress leaders over threats and assets
Ramchander Rao accused Congress leaders of using weapons to intimidate others. He warned that such leaders should not remain in office for long. “They are looting without fear,” he said.
He demanded that the government disclose the details of assets owned by Congress leaders. “People must know who protects these corrupt politicians,” he added. Rao asserted that the ongoing controversies expose the true nature of the Congress leadership.
