Raja Singh rules out by-election in Goshamahal, slams social media speculation

Hyderabad: BJP MLA T. Raja Singh on Tuesday categorically ruled out the possibility of a by-election in Goshamahal, calling the ongoing speculation baseless.

He accused certain individuals of spreading falsehoods on social media, alleging that deliberate misinformation was being used to create political confusion. “There will be no by-election in Goshamahal,” he said, adding that such claims are unfounded.

Raja Singh said senior BJP leaders in Delhi would summon him soon. He intends to discuss his grievances directly and announce his political stance thereafter. On the Jubilee Hills by-election, he said he would campaign if the party’s candidate approached him personally.

While the BJP state unit remains silent, Singh claimed many party MPs and MLAs are privately dissatisfied. They were hesitant to speak out, he added, citing fear of internal repercussions. Singh insisted that his presence during campaigns in other states has increased the BJP’s vote share significantly.

Dismissing speculation about joining Shiv Sena, TDP, or Jana Sena, he clarified there was no truth to such reports. All these parties are BJP allies, he noted, and he has no intention of leaving.

He praised newly appointed Telangana BJP president G. Ramachandra Rao, calling him effective and focused. Singh expressed confidence that the party would form the next state government under his leadership.
