Hyderabad: Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi will tour Telangana on March 2 to attend a District Congress Committee presidents’ training programme in Vikarabad district, the All India Congress Committee announced.
Rahul Gandhi will begin his one-day visit from Delhi at 7.10 am on an Air India flight. He will land at Hyderabad’s Shamshabad airport at 9.20 am. Soon after arrival, he will board a special helicopter at 10 am and fly to Vikarabad.
The training session will start at 10.30 am at Haritha Resorts in Ananthagiri and continue until 4.30 pm. During the programme, Rahul Gandhi will address DCC presidents and senior district leaders on strengthening the party organisation. He will also outline the future course of action and review coordination across districts.

The session will take place at Ananthagiri Hills in Vikarabad district. Throughout the day, Rahul Gandhi will interact with district leadership and assess organisational preparedness. In addition, he will focus on grassroots mobilisation and internal structure.
After the session ends at 4.30 pm, he will return to Hyderabad by helicopter. He will then depart from Shamshabad airport at 5.30 pm on an Air India flight to Delhi the same evening.
Meanwhile, Telangana Congress leaders intensified preparations in Vikarabad ahead of the visit. Party workers coordinated logistics for the training programme. At the same time, the state government directed officials to enforce tight security during the tour.
