Hyderabad: Nagarkurnool MP Mallu Ravi said Rahul Gandhi was now ready for the PM post and had agreed to take up the responsibility of leading the nation.
Speaking to the media at Gandhi Bhavan on Tuesday, he said Rahul Gandhi had earlier declined two opportunities to become Prime Minister. He stated that the Congress leader chose to remain close to people and understand their problems before stepping into national leadership.

Now, he added, Rahul Gandhi had expressed willingness to assume the PM post. Therefore, Mallu Ravi said the country required his leadership at this juncture.
