Hyderabad: A 55-year-old village secretary died on the spot after a DCM vehicle hit him near Lingotam stage in Kanagal mandal, in the Pulimamidi village secretary death that shocked local residents.
According to preliminary information, Avuta Mohan Rao, who was serving as secretary of Pulimamidi village, was travelling from Nalgonda to Pulimamidi when the accident occurred. The collision took place near Lingotam stage limits. As a result, he suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene.
He was reportedly heading to Pulimamidi village early in the morning on official duty when the vehicle struck him. The secretary death occurred before he could reach his workplace.

Following the secretary death, Pulimamidi sarpanch Male Aruna Satyanarayana Reddy expressed shock and grief over the incident. She conveyed condolences to the bereaved family and described the loss as tragic for the village administration.
Meanwhile, further details about the accident were awaited. Authorities were yet to release comprehensive information regarding the circumstances leading to the collision.
The secretary death has left residents in mourning, as colleagues and villagers remembered Mohan Rao’s service in the village.
