Protest in Goshamahal while CM lays foundation for new Osmania Hospital building

HYDERABAD, January 31: A protest broke out in Goshamahal as Telangana Chief Minister participated in a foundation stone-laying ceremony in the area. While the event was underway, a group of women staged a sit-in on the road leading to the CM’s route, chanting slogans against the proposed construction of Osmania Hospital in Goshamahal.

The protesters demanded that the hospital not be built in the locality, raising slogans such as “CM Down Down.” The demonstration briefly disrupted traffic, drawing police intervention.

Security personnel swiftly responded, detaining the protesting women and shifting them to the police station. The protest highlighted ongoing public opposition to the location of the hospital project. Further official statements on the matter are awaited.
