Hyderabad: President Droupadi Murmu will arrive in Hyderabad on December 17 for her annual winter stay. She continues the Rashtrapati Bhavan practice of spending part of December in the city. Officials prepared the President’s Residence in Bollaram for the visit. They also completed coordination with state teams to finalise the schedule. The President will stay in Hyderabad for five days and attend key public programmes. Her visit will include cultural events and meetings across several locations.
The winter stay has been a long tradition, and this year follows the same pattern. Officials said the plan covers public events, outreach meetings and formal interactions. They added that the schedule aims to balance official duties with community engagement.
President’s Hyderabad visit includes key events and public meetings
On December 19, President Murmu will attend a programme at Ramoji Film City. She will then visit Shanti Sarovar in Gachibowli on December 20 for events led by the Global Peace Committee. Her final schedule is also clear. On December 21, she will meet groups from different sectors and join a tea reception held after the meeting. She will leave for Delhi on the morning of December 22, ending her five-day visit.
