President Droupadi Murmu to visit South India from Dec 16 to 22

Hyderabad: President of India Droupadi Murmu will embark on a week-long tour of South India. This will be from December 16 to 22, covering Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and Telangana.

She will begin her visit on December 16 by inaugurating the 1066th Jayanthi celebrations of Adi Jagadguru Sri Shivarathreeshwara Shivayogi Mahaswamiji at Malavalli in Mandya district, Karnataka.

President to stay at Rashtrapati Nilayam during Telangana leg

On December 17, President Murmu will offer prayers at the Golden Temple in Vellore, Tamil Nadu. She will then travel to Rashtrapati Nilayam in Bolarum, Secunderabad, for her annual Winter sojourn.

While in Telangana, she will inaugurate the National Conference of Chairpersons of Public Service Commissions in Hyderabad on December 19. The event is being hosted by the Telangana State Public Service Commission.

On December 20, the President will deliver the keynote address at a conference. It is titled “Timeless Wisdom of Bharat: Pathways of Peace and Progress”, marking the 21st anniversary of Brahma Kumaris Shanti Sarovar in Hyderabad.
