Hyderabad: President Droupadi Murmu on Friday offered prayers at the Sri Venkateswara Swamy temple in Tirumala, accompanied by her family and entourage.
Andhra Pradesh Endowments Minister Anam Ramnarayan Reddy was also present during her darshan.
Following tradition, the President first visited the Sri Varaha Swamy temple before entering the main shrine. On arrival, she was formally welcomed with the customary ‘Isthikaphal‘ honours by temple priests. TTD Chairman B.R. Naidu, Executive Officer A.K. Singhal, and Additional EO Ch. Venkaiah Chowdary received her at the temple.
After offering prayers at the sanctum sanctorum, the President was given ‘Sesha Vastram’ and received Vedasirvachanam at the Ranganayakula Mandapam.

The President was also presented with Theertha Prasadam, a framed portrait of the deity, and TTD’s 2026 calendars and diaries.
TTD board members Panabaka Lakshmi, Janaki Devi, Bhanuprakash Reddy, CVSO Muralikrishna, District Collector Dr Venkateswar, and SP Subbarayudu were among the officials in attendance.
