Minister Ponnam Prabhakar visits home of Telangana’s top Intermediate student

HYDERABAD: Telangana Transport and BC Welfare Minister Ponnam Prabhakar visited the home of R. Vaishnavi, a student from Hasanabad who secured the top rank in the state in the Intermediate first-year examinations.

During his visit to Saidapur mandal in Karimnagar district on Monday, the minister laid the foundation for several development works. He instructed officials to expedite the construction of bridges to ensure they are made available to the public at the earliest.

Speaking on the importance of education, Prabhakar said that in today’s competitive world, students who study with dedication have a bright future. He praised R. Vaishnavi, a student of Telangana Gurukula Junior College studying in the MPC group, for securing 468 marks out of 470 in the Intermediate first-year exams—earning her the top rank at the state level.

The minister personally congratulated Vaishnavi and her parents at their residence and said that her academic success had made her a role model for other students across the state.
