Hyderabad: Minister Ponnam Prabhakar led a Class X students motivation programme in Hyderabad, urging teenagers to treat the board examination as a decisive milestone in life.
The motivational training classes were organised in collaboration with Sankalp Foundation at Stanley Girls High School Auditorium, Abids, under the aegis of the Hyderabad District Education Department. District Collector Dasari Harichandana, DEO Rohini, sportswoman Naina Jaiswal and representatives of Sankalp Foundation attended the event.
Addressing students from various schools, the Minister described Class X as the first big step toward future career choices. He advised them to overcome fear, shyness and stress through confidence and consistent preparation.
“Read the question paper carefully, answer the easy questions first and then attempt the difficult ones. Stay away from distractions like mobile phones, TV and unnecessary outings during exams,” he said.
Class X students’ motivation stresses discipline and planning
Ponnam emphasised time management, daily revision and disciplined study habits. He encouraged students to prepare practical timetables and set small, achievable goals. According to him, steady practice would reduce anxiety and improve performance.
He also highlighted the value of government schooling, noting that both he and Chief Minister Revanth Reddy studied in public institutions. The government, he said, remained committed to strengthening education infrastructure across the State.
The programme concluded with interactive sessions where motivational speakers guided students on exam strategies and confidence building. Officials said the initiative aimed to boost morale ahead of the upcoming Class X examinations.
