Hyderabad: Police launched large-scale raids to crack down on QNET operations in Hyderabad, deploying 25 teams across the city.
The action followed multiple complaints linked to multi-level marketing schemes. Police also extended searches to Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka as part of the coordinated effort.
QNET targets IT employees through investment schemes
Investigators said QNET agents approached IT employees with promises of high returns and structured plans. They convinced victims to take bank loans and route the funds into the scheme.
Police identified 20 key accused linked to QNET activities. Authorities shifted cases from Banjara Hills, Madhura Nagar, and Masab Tank police stations to the CCS due to the scale.
The network operated quietly while promoting claims of assured profits. As complaints increased, police intensified surveillance and exposed the pattern behind the operation.
Search operations continued to trace the accused across multiple locations as the investigation progressed.
