Koti ATM firing targeted Kerala trader
The Koti ATM firing occurred when Kerala-based garment trader Rinshad visited the SBI main branch ATM in Koti to deposit Rs 6 lakh. He had come to Hyderabad for business and was staying in Nampally.
On January 31, around 7 am, assailants opened fire at him and shot two rounds. One bullet struck his leg, injuring him.
The attackers snatched the cash bag and his scooter before fleeing the scene. Police later arrested a person from the Old City who allegedly provided shelter and logistical support to the gang.
Authorities are likely to produce the accused before the media on Saturday.
