Hyderabad: Srinivasa Reddy retirement was honoured by the Directorate General of Prisons and Correctional Services on March 30, 2026, as senior officials commended his long and dedicated service to the department.
Sri Pakanati Srinivasa Reddy, who served as Assistant Deputy Jailor at Central Prison Cherlapalli, retired upon attaining the age of superannuation. The department organised a felicitation ceremony at its headquarters to recognise his contributions.
The event was attended by Director General of Prisons and Correctional Services Soumya Mishra, along with senior officials including N Murali Babu, D Srinivas, M Sampath, Mohd Yousuf and K Sreeman Reddy. Staff members and family members were also present.
Speaking on the occasion, Soumya Mishra praised his sincerity and unblemished record. She said his commitment to duty set a strong example for others in the department.
Srinivasa Reddy retirement marked with official recognition
As part of the Srinivasa Reddy retirement event, officials presented him with a cheque from the Welfare Fund. The fund was built through monthly salary contributions from staff, reflecting collective appreciation for his service.
In response, Srinivasa Reddy expressed gratitude for the recognition and support extended by the department. His family members also thanked officials for honouring his career.
The ceremony highlighted his long-standing contribution to prison administration and encouraged colleagues to maintain high standards of professionalism and dedication in public service.
