Hyderabad, January 25: A fatal road accident occurred early Saturday morning in Banjara Hills near Basavatarakam Cancer Hospital. A speeding car lost control and veered onto the footpath, striking pedestrians. One person was killed on the spot, while two others sustained serious injuries.
The driver fled the scene, abandoning the vehicle at the accident site.
Police rushed to the location upon receiving information and transported the injured to a nearby hospital for treatment. Efforts are underway to identify the car owner using the vehicle’s number plate. A case has been registered, and an investigation is ongoing to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
