111 victims reunited with recovered phones

DCP Rashmi Perumal briefed the media on the recovery effort and personally handed over the recovered devices to 111 complainants from various police stations under her jurisdiction. She praised the coordination among ACPs, inspectors, and crime teams across the North Zone.

“This recovery demonstrates our commitment to serving citizens and using technology effectively in fighting crime,” she said.

The CEIR portal, a centralised platform to trace lost and stolen mobile phones, continues to aid police departments in tracking and disabling misused devices.
