Hyderabad: A Nepali gang theft came to light in Malakpet after a businessman reported the loss of cash, gold and other valuables from his home on Wednesday night. He noticed the missing property soon after he returned to his residence and informed the local police without delay.
The businessman had hired a Nepali couple for domestic work. The gang used this access to plan the theft and strike when they found a chance. The stolen items included a large sum of cash and gold ornaments, which raised concerns about the scale of the crime.
