National Mobility Summit 2026 preparations reviewed in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: Transport Minister Ponnam Prabhakar on Friday reviewed preparations for the National Mobility Summit 2026 during a meeting with senior officials in Hyderabad.

The meeting examined arrangements for the Second National Mobility Summit 2026, scheduled for March 17 at Novotel. Transport Department Commissioner Ilambarthi, JTC Chandrasekhar Goud and representatives of Elets TechnoMedia attended the review meeting with the minister.

Officials said the National Mobility Summit 2026 will focus on transport reforms, smart mobility technologies, electric vehicles and urban transport development. Meanwhile, Elets TechnoMedia is organising the summit with the Telangana Transport Department as a key partner.

The summit will serve as a national platform for discussions on sustainable and smart transport systems in India. Therefore, policymakers, industry leaders and technology experts will exchange ideas on future mobility solutions.

Officials said the National Mobility Summit 2026 will promote electric vehicles, green transport and carbon emission reduction. In addition, experts will discuss the adoption of smart mobility technologies in urban transport systems.

Key themes include artificial intelligence-based traffic management, digital ticketing and data-driven fleet management systems. Moreover, participants will examine ways to integrate different transport modes into a unified mobility network.

The summit will also highlight the importance of multi-modal connectivity linking metro rail, buses, electric vehicles and other transport systems. As a result, such integration can improve urban mobility and commuter convenience.
