RS Praveen Kumar alleges Nadergul land conspiracy

Hyderabad: BRS leader RS Praveen Kumar on Wednesday alleged a Nadergul land conspiracy involving Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy and Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy, and demanded the minister’s resignation.

Speaking at Telangana Bhavan, he said the government was attempting to take control of land in Nadergul through questionable means. He alleged that the minister handled land matters in a way that raised concerns. According to him, the issue pointed to a wider Nadergul land conspiracy that required closer scrutiny.

Criticising the minister’s recent press interaction, he said the remarks did not reflect an official position. Instead, he claimed the statements resembled those of a private entity. He also said other ministers and legislators were being sidelined while key decisions were made. As a result, he alleged that private influence had entered government functioning.

Referring to Balapur, he said about 374 acres in Survey No. 613 showed repeated changes in company boards. Different names appeared on fencing at different times, he said. These included Kohinoor Group, Raghava, Megha, Shilpa, Impex and Infra. He alleged that boards changed overnight.

Turning to Kotwalguda, he said a board linked to a construction firm disappeared after a fact-finding visit. He questioned whether officials allowed such changes. He also referred to a notice issued by the Mining and Geology Department on May 21, 2025. He asked whether the notice related to the same firm.

Challenging the minister, he asked him to present evidence on the Nadergul land issue at a public venue. He reiterated the demand for accountability. He added that the party would continue to raise the matter until clarity emerged on the Nadergul land conspiracy.
