Hyderabad: Andhra Pradesh’s resident Indian Army man Murali Nayak was killed by Pakistani forces’ cross-border firing in Jammu and Kashmir.
Nayak hailed from Kallithanda village under Gorantla mandal that falls under Sri Sathya Sai district’s Penukonda Assembly constituency. He succumbed to indiscriminate shelling on the Line of Control (LoC), early reports reported.
His remains are expected to arrive at his hometown village on Saturday.
Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu sent his deepest condolences to the affected family.
