Hyderabad: Telangana will set up exclusive MSME parks for women in each Assembly constituency, IT and Industries Minister D. Sridhar Babu announced on Sunday.
He announced the WE-Enable Graduation Ceremony hosted by WE Hub in Jubilee Hills. The Minister said the initiative supports Telangana’s push to become a $3 trillion economy by 2047.
He stressed that women must become key contributors to this growth. “Empowerment should start at home and extend into economic life,” he said.
Citing official figures, Sridhar Babu said Telangana’s Female Labour Force Participation Rate (FLFPR) has reached 52.7%, higher than the national average of 45.2%. Since 2017–18, the State’s women workforce participation has nearly doubled, rising from 22% to 40.3%.

He said the State is developing an integrated ecosystem that offers skilling, finance, technology, markets and mentorship in one place.
Urging women to move beyond traditional roles, he called on them to become job creators and business leaders. The event was attended by Olympic athlete Jwala Gutta, producer Priyanka Dutt, WE Hub CEO Sita Pallacholla, and senior officials.
