Hyderabad: Moinabad drugs party case intensified as a Special Investigation Team (SIT) questioned three key accused in connection with the farmhouse incident in Rangareddy district.
The Telangana government treated the case with urgency and constituted the SIT under Rajendranagar DCP Yogesh Gautam to probe the matter. The team began examining the roots of the network and its possible international links.
Officials questioned Namit Sharma, his brother Riteesh Reddy, and former BRS MLA Rohith Reddy in connection with the Moinabad drugs party. Investigators focused on identifying the source of narcotics used during the event.
Moinabad drugs party probe tracks supply network
The SIT examined how drugs were procured for the farmhouse gathering. Officials suspected that the supply may have originated from Bengaluru or Goa. Therefore, investigators analysed call data and social media chats of the accused to trace the network.
At the same time, the SIT worked to identify drug peddlers linked to the drugs party. Officers were mapping connections to uncover the supply chain behind the incident.

Authorities also investigated who attended the farmhouse party. The drugs party reportedly included several prominent individuals and children of businesspersons from the city.
SIT officials seized CCTV footage from the farmhouse and began detailed analysis. Based on findings, more individuals could receive notices for questioning.
