Former Telangana Minorities Commission chairman Mohammed Qamaruddin passes away at 74

Hyderabad: Mohammed Qamaruddin, former Chairman of the Telangana State Minorities Commission and retired Engineer-in-Chief of the Tribal Welfare Department, passed away on Wednesday, October 29. He was 74.

A respected bureaucrat and community leader, he was the son of the late Mohammed Moinuddin. Funeral prayers took place at 11 p.m. at Quba Mosque in Farah Colony, Saeedabad.

Burial and condolences

Family members performed the burial at the Dargah Hazrat Ujale Shah (RA) graveyard in Saeedabad. His wife, six sons, and one daughter survive him.

Political and religious leaders visited his residence and expressed condolences to the grieving family. They praised his lifelong service to public welfare and community development.
