Hyderabad: MLC Kalvakuntla Kavitha on Monday announced that she will launch a new political party ahead of the next general elections by transforming Telangana Jagruthi into a full-fledged political platform. This marks Kavitha’s strategic move to launch her new political party for the upcoming challenges.
Describing it as a “new beginning,” Kavitha said the party would fight for the rights and dignity of all marginalised sections, including Dalits, minorities, women, students, and unemployed youth. She urged people to support her independent political journey as Kavitha aims to launch her new political party.
“Breaking ties under burden of humiliation”: Kavitha
Kavitha said she was parting ways with her family politically due to what she described as a burden of humiliation. “I am coming to you, breaking all ties with my family. Bless me,” she said, asserting that her new party would soon become a strong political force in Telangana. Indeed, Kavitha’s decision to launch a new political party is a step toward this goal.
She also said the state needs a party that stands firmly with Telangana movement activists. Telangana Jagruthi, she added, would evolve to fill that political void and represent those voices as Kavitha launches this new political initiative.
Invites activists and martyr families to join
Kavitha extended a public invitation to movement activists and families of martyrs to join Telangana Jagruthi. She promised that the party would champion self-respect, equal opportunities, and the unfinished goals of the Telangana movement.
