Minister Satyavati Rathod Lauds Academic Success of Tribal Students in Telangana

Hyderabad: In a celebration of educational achievement, Telangana’s Minister for Panchayat Raj and Rural Development, Satyavati Rathod, on Wednesday praised the academic performance of tribal students across the state. The occasion was marked by the ‘Academic Success Meet’ held at Komaram Bheem Adivasi Bhavan in Banjara Hills, Hyderabad.

Organised by the Department of Tribal Welfare, the event recognised students who excelled in SSC, Intermediate, EAMCET, and JEE Mains examinations. Minister Satyavati, attending as the chief guest, personally congratulated the high-achieving students and acknowledged the crucial role played by their teachers in their success.

In her address, she reflected on the historical challenges tribal communities have faced in accessing quality education, stating, “For generations, tribal youth were denied the same opportunities, but today they stand shoulder to shoulder with their peers and are proving their mettle.”

The minister also praised the commitment and hard work of teachers within the tribal education system, crediting them for guiding the students to these milestones.

As a symbolic gesture of gratitude, students from the Tribal Gurukulam Fine Arts College presented Minister Satyavati with a hand-crafted tribal art saree.
