Hyderabad: Congress in-charge Meenakshi Natarajan came under fire on Wednesday for reviewing the Pashamylaram blast site alongside ministers and government officials.
Natarajan, who visited the location with cabinet members, was seen holding discussions and reviewing the situation, leading to criticism over her lack of official government authority.
Opposition voices questioned how a Congress in-charge could conduct such reviews without holding any statutory position in the administration.
They recalled that Natarajan had similarly conducted reviews earlier at the state secretariat, raising fresh questions about political interference.
