HYDERABAD: On the occasion of Sri Vishwavasu Nama Samvatsara Ugadi, Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) Mayor Gadwal Vijayalakshmi extended her heartfelt greetings to the people of Hyderabad.
Speaking on the occasion, the Mayor emphasized that Ugadi marks a hopeful new beginning and is a festival that reflects traditions and culture. She highlighted the symbolic meaning of Ugadi Pachadi, which represents the different flavors of life, signifying the blend of emotions and experiences. She wished for happiness, prosperity, health, peace, and success in everyone’s lives during this new year.
Mayor Vijayalakshmi assured that GHMC remains committed to the development of Hyderabad. She stated that in the new year, GHMC will undertake more developmental projects and expand infrastructure facilities with public cooperation to enhance the city further.
