Hyderabad: A massive fire broke out at Gomathi Electronics store in the Shalibanda area of Hyderabad on Sunday night, injuring several employees and causing significant property damage. The blaze erupted suddenly around the store’s closing time, with eyewitnesses reporting flames shooting up rapidly from within the premises.
Fire personnel responded swiftly and began dousing the flames while ambulances transported the injured to a nearby hospital. According to local reports, compressors inside air conditioners and washing machines exploded, intensifying the fire.
The explosions led to panic in the vicinity and prompted authorities to evacuate nearby residential buildings. Police cordoned off roads leading to the area and implemented tight security measures to control the crowd and ensure public safety.
