CM Revanth Reddy expresses shock over Markapuram bus accident

Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy expressed shock over the Markapuram bus accident in Andhra Pradesh and conveyed condolences to the families of the deceased. The Markapuram bus accident triggered a swift response from the state government.

In a post on X, the Chief Minister said the incident caused deep anguish. He stated that reports of multiple deaths in the accident were distressing.

Markapuram bus accident prompts relief coordination

Revanth Reddy extended his sympathies to the families of those who died. Moreover, he wished a speedy recovery for the injured.

He said the Telangana government is coordinating with Andhra Pradesh officials to ensure better medical treatment for the injured. Therefore, he directed authorities to act on priority.

The Chief Minister instructed Chief Secretary Ramakrishna Rao to gather details of the victims from Telangana. In addition, he asked officials to coordinate with Andhra Pradesh authorities and take up relief measures on a war footing.

Officials are working to identify victims and assist affected families. Meanwhile, the government is monitoring the situation closely following the accident.
