Hyderabad: A 49-year-old man was killed on the spot after being hit and run over by a speeding car near the HP gas godown at Vidyanagar Colony in Chunchupalli mandal on Monday.
The deceased, Domala Sangayya, lived in RamAnjaneya Colony and worked as a sales assistant at a clothing store. The accident occurred while he was on his way out for work-related errands.
According to police, the car struck Sangayya at high speed, causing him to fall. The vehicle’s rear tyre ran over him, leading to his instant death.
Sangayya is survived by a son and a daughter. Following a complaint by his daughter, Sanghavi, Chunchupalli police registered a case and launched an investigation into the incident.
