HYDERABAD: A man identified as Rajayya died after sustaining injuries in a road accident on National Highway 65 near Arur in Sadashivpet mandal on Thursday.
According to police, the deceased hailed from Rampur village in Marpalli mandal of Vikarabad district. The incident occurred when Rajayya was returning to his native village on a TVS Excel bike after completing work in the Sadashivpet area. A goods vehicle reportedly rammed into his two-wheeler, causing severe injuries.
He was immediately shifted to the government hospital in Sadashivpet for treatment but succumbed to his injuries while undergoing medical care.
Following a complaint filed by the victim’s son, Venkatesham, police registered a case. Circle Inspector Mahesh Goud stated that an investigation into the Sadashivpet accident is currently underway.
