Mahabubnagar AEE caught by ACB for ₹3,000 bribe in LRS case

Hyderabad: Telangana Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) officials caught Assistant Executive Engineer Mohd. Fayaz of the Irrigation Department, Mahabubnagar district, for demanding and accepting a bribe of ₹3,000 to upload land documents on the official Land Regularisation Scheme (LRS) portal.

According to ACB, the officer was working in Sub-Division-I, Division-1, Circle-1. He accepted the bribe from a complainant in exchange for uploading the joint inspection report and No Objection Certificate (NOC) of a plot, which are required for LRS compliance.

Public urged to report bribe demands via ACB Telangana helpline

ACB urged citizens to report such illegal demands by calling the toll-free helpline 1064 or messaging via WhatsApp at 9440446106. Reports can also be submitted through acb.telangana.gov.in, with assurance that the identity of complainants will be kept confidential.
