Hyderabad: BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao called for greater respect for women and said they should be recognised not only as mothers, sisters, or daughters but also as individuals with equal rights.
He shared the message on Sunday through a post on social media platform X while extending greetings on the occasion of International Women’s Day.
KTR said society would become a better place when women are accepted as human beings equal to men and treated with dignity. He emphasised that the demand for respect for women should not be limited to symbolic gestures.
According to him, ensuring equality and dignity for women is a collective responsibility of society.
KTR stresses respect for women and equal rights
In his message, KTR said women should not have to struggle for basic rights in society. He urged people to reflect on their responsibilities and work towards creating a more inclusive environment.
He also called on citizens to resolve to treat women with dignity and fairness. According to him, such changes in attitudes are essential for social progress.
KTR further expressed hope that strong women would continue to grow and succeed in different fields. He added that empowering women would contribute to building a more balanced and progressive society.
