Hyderabad: BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao received an invitation to Vaisakhi celebrations from the Ameerpet Gurudwara committee for the upcoming Khalsa Sajna Diwas event.
A delegation led by committee president S. Darshan Singh met KTR and handed over the invitation. Former minister and local MLA Talasani Srinivas Yadav accompanied them during the meeting.
The representatives invited him to attend the main event scheduled on April 14 at 1:30 pm at Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji Multipurpose Sports Complex in Ameerpet.
Vaisakhi celebrations to draw thousands at Ameerpet event
Organisers said religious preachers from Punjab will perform Gurbani kirtans and conduct other spiritual programmes. They expect around 8,000 to 8,500 devotees to attend the event.
The delegation urged KTR to take part in the celebrations and seek the blessings of Guru Sahib. Gurudwara committee members and other representatives attended the meeting.
