Hyderabad: BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao on Friday inaugurated Amrutha Sankalp Clinic, a new mental wellness centre in Gachibowli, established by Dr Surendra, Sirisha, and Vijayalakshmi. Commending the team behind the initiative, KTR said such centres play a vital role in providing timely psychological support to those who may not feel comfortable opening up to family or friends.
Speaking at the event, KTR highlighted the growing significance of mental health in today’s high-pressure environment. He urges people to discard the stigma attached to mental health issues and encouraged them to seek professional help without hesitation. “Mental health is as important as physical health. Consulting professionals must never be seen as a weakness,” he said.
He cautioned that untreated mental stress is increasingly contributing to serious health problems, including diabetes and even suicides. With fast-paced lifestyles placing greater strain on individuals, KTR emphasised the urgent need for greater mental wellness awareness across society.
