Hyderabad: Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy on Tuesday sought votes for the Congress party in Nalgonda, saying the city’s integrated development depended on a strong mandate.
He took part in election campaigning in Charlapalli and Marriguda areas. The campaign covered Divisions 14 and 15 of the Nalgonda Municipal Corporation.
Addressing residents, the Minister said his vision was to transform Nalgonda beyond a conventional town. He said he aimed to develop it as a super smart city.
According to him, Nalgonda should emerge as the State’s second-largest smart city after Hyderabad.
Congress campaign Nalgonda focuses on development vision
Komatireddy Venkat Reddy said the proposed development plans required public backing. Therefore, he urged voters to ensure the victory of Congress candidates in all 48 divisions.
He said a clear mandate would accelerate infrastructure projects and civic works across the city.
Ahead of the municipal elections, he appealed to voters to support the Congress party symbol. He said public support would secure a bright future for Nalgonda.
