Justice delayed in Group-1 and GO 46 cases, says MLC Sravan

Hyderabad: BRS MLC Dasoju Sravan on Friday blamed the state government for prolonged delays in resolving issues related to the Group-1 examination and GO 46. He warned that lakhs of aspirants were being pushed into legal battles instead of receiving timely justice.

Speaking in the Legislative Council, Sravan said the Group-1 exam process was riddled with irregularities. As a result, students were forced to approach courts repeatedly. He demanded a government-issued White Paper detailing all failures in the examination system.

Group-1 GO 46 MLC Sravan demands transparency and justice

Citing information obtained through the RTI Act, Sravan revealed that officials evaluated Group-1 Mains answer scripts at JNTU. He questioned the government’s silence on this and called for clear answers.

He also accused the administration of using students during elections and then ignoring them afterward. These young aspirants, he said, are “our own children” and deserve support, not uncertainty.

Sravan urged the government to act responsibly. Instead of forcing students to fight in courts, it should protect their future. “Justice delayed is justice denied,” he concluded.
